School & Nursery Cleaning
in Manchester,
DBS-Checked as Standard
Safeguarding-first cleaning for schools, nurseries and early-years settings across Manchester, delivered by enhanced DBS-checked staff, outside teaching hours, against a written specification your Ofsted inspector can read.
What this covers, and who it's for
Every quote arrives in writing as a fixed-price proposal, designed around your building, your hours and your standards.
Cleaning for education settings, primary and secondary schools, private schools, nurseries, pre-schools and out-of-school clubs, covering classrooms, corridors, halls, staff areas, toilets, kitchens and outdoor touchpoints against a written specification.
Nursery owners, primary school business managers, MAT operations leads, private school bursars, and out-of-school club operators across Greater Manchester.
Bring us in when your current cleaner is causing safeguarding concerns, when Ofsted has flagged hygiene issues, when illness outbreaks are recurring, or when you're opening a new setting.
Cleaning in education is a safeguarding activity, not just a hygiene activity, the cleaner is on-site around children. Enhanced DBS checks, documented visits and infection-control-aware routines aren't optional; they're the baseline expectation.
The cost of leaving this to chance
The problems below are the ones we're brought in to fix week after week across Greater Manchester. Each one is preventable with the right specification and the right operator.
Untrained cleaners create safeguarding risk
A cleaner without an enhanced DBS check on the premises of a school or nursery is a safeguarding failure, and Ofsted treats it as one.
Illness outbreaks are cleaning failures
Norovirus, hand-foot-and-mouth and winter bugs sweep through settings when high-touch surfaces (door handles, taps, tables, potties, sleep mats) aren't disinfected daily.
Toilets are the single biggest complaint source
Children notice. Parents notice. Ofsted notices. Understocked or under-cleaned toilets damage a setting's reputation.
Undocumented cleans fail inspection questions
'Show me your cleaning schedule.' If you can't, that's a finding. We provide written specifications and signed visit sheets.

Cleans delivered after pupils leave and before staff arrive, cleaners are never on-site with unaccompanied children.
Infection-control-aware routines
Daily disinfection of high-touch surfaces, correct chemistry for early-years environments, colour-coded systems.
Toilets kept to a visible standard
Toilets prioritised daily with consumable restocking so complaints stop.
Written specification for inspectors
A room-by-room, task-by-task specification and signed sign-off sheets, hand it to Ofsted or your local authority visitor.
Fully insured
£2M public liability and £10M employers liability, the coverage your setting is entitled to expect.
The 24-hour re-clean guarantee
If anything is ever missed, raise it with your account manager and we'll be back on-site within 24 hours to put it right, at our cost. That's how confident we are in our specification and our team.
What this looks like on the ground
Why enhanced DBS matters for cleaners
In an education or early-years setting, anyone regularly on-site during or around the presence of children needs an enhanced DBS check as a safeguarding baseline. Because our whole team is DBS-checked as standard, we can flex cover between sites without ever putting a non-checked cleaner on a school floor, a common failure mode with agencies that only DBS-check some of their staff.
Cleaning early-years and nursery-specific surfaces
Nursery environments have surfaces domestic and office cleaners rarely handle: sleep mats, potties, low-level touchpoints at toddler height, changing stations, sensory tables, soft-play surfaces. Each needs the right chemistry (early-years-appropriate, low-fume) and the right frequency. Our specification covers them explicitly.
Timing: before, during or after hours
Most school and nursery contracts are delivered after pupils leave, before staff return. Some larger secondary sites run a daytime caretaker-support presence for washroom checks and spill response. We adapt to how the setting operates and document access, keyholding and safeguarding protocols in writing.
Working with SLT, business managers and MATs
Whether you're a single-form-entry primary, a private nursery chain or a MAT with a dozen sites, we run one contract, one specification and one point of contact. MAT-wide procurement documentation is available.
What we don't do
We don't undertake site management, caretaker duties, grounds maintenance, or high-level external work. We do specialist deep cleans, holiday deep cleans and outbreak response cleans as additions to the standard contract.
Delivered across Greater Manchester
We cover Manchester and every surrounding borough. If you're outside this list, call us, we may still be able to help.
