What this looks like on the ground
Communal, clinical and private-room cleaning
Communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, corridors, entrances) are cleaned daily to a high visible standard. Clinical and treatment areas follow the same colour-coded, correct-chemistry protocols we use in medical practices. Private rooms are cleaned only with resident consent and to the provider's written protocol, some settings ask us to handle rooms fully, others reserve room-cleaning for care staff and ask us to handle communal only. We follow your protocol, not our own.
Working around dementia and specialist care
In dementia settings, cleaners need to work quietly, avoid startling residents, and understand that a raised voice or an unfamiliar face can distress. Our team is briefed on the setting's dementia protocols during onboarding and cleans in ways that don't disrupt residents' routines.
Infection-control response and outbreak cleans
For norovirus, flu or C. diff outbreaks, we can mobilise an outbreak deep clean at short notice: full disinfection of touchpoints, communal areas and affected rooms with appropriate chemistry and dwell times, coordinated with the setting's infection-control lead.
